LANDING A LITERARY AGENT

IMG_8805.PNG
You've written a full manuscript or book proposal and are eager to get your book out into the world. The next step — finding a literary agent — can be elusive and stressful process.
In this six week class, we will demystify the querying process by discussing why you need an agent, how to build a personalized agent list (who you should query by genre, interest, and identifying potential matches for you and your project), preparing your submission materials, crafting the perfect query letter, follow up, and what to expect after signing. By the end of class, students will have the tools and materials necessary to query agents. Open to writers of all genres.
